We are pleased to announce that Jeff Schwartz has been selected by his peers as one of the State’s leading intellectual property attorneys, according to separate surveys taken by Law & Politics and Business North Carolina magazine.

Each year Law & Politics sends ballots to the approximately 16,800 active lawyers in North Carolina who have been in practice for five years or more. The ballot asks lawyers to nominate the best attorneys they've personally observed in action. The nominees are grouped into nearly 50 practice areas. The survey comprises interviews and contacts, independent research, data verification, and a good standing review. The top candidates from each practice area are selected as "Super Lawyers." Jeff Schwartz is one of less than 50 lawyers statewide to be named among 2006 SUPER LAWYERS in the field of Intellectual Property.

Business North Carolina magazine also surveys attorneys throughout the State to obtain their view on the State's best practitioners in designated areas of law; more than 16,000 attorneys receive ballots each year. Jeff is one of less than 3% of lawyers statewide to be chosen as a member of the LEGAL ELITE. He has received this recognition in the field of intellectual property for each of years 2005, 2006, 2008, 2009, and 2010.
